Megan Gibson player will play the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game on Sunday, July 12. The game will air on ESPN360 at 4:30 PM and Sunday at ESPN and ESPNHD for Monday, 13 July at 9 pm
Megan Gibson and three other current National Pro Fastpitch (NPF), players will compete in the celebrity game of baseball along with the legends and celebrities from the worlds of music and Hollywood. He held in a house in the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium and is part of the festivities and games that surround the Major League Baseball's (MLB) annual All-Star Game.
Megan Gibson also will be in St. Louis to hold clinics, meet fans and sign autographs at the MLB All-Star FanFest, which is a baseball theme park and the largest baseball fan event in the world. CHP will have a display area and will offer fans the opportunity to meet players, get autographs and free giveaway items, as well as participate in clinics on the diamond.
"I am very excited about playing in the celebrity softball game," said Gibson, Megan. "We are the first NPF players to participate in it, and it will be a wonderful opportunity. In the NPF is lining a lot of things to get better known and get the best league players in college come to play."
Spring, Texas, native recently returned from playing professional softball in Japan and will continue to play in Philadelphia, a group of August, when Megan Gibson and then return to Japan for the Women's Major League Softball Season autumn.
For the Philadelphia team, Megan Gibson made four starts in the circle and struck out 15 in 22.0 broke the feed. Megan Gibson leads a team with a .280 batting average, four home runs, but on the basis of percentage of .419 and .800 slugging percentage.
Megan Gibson was second overall to receive the 2008 NPF Senior Draft.
Former Texas A & M team, Jami Lobpries, joins Gibson on the team. Lobpries record seven hits, including two home run, a .241 average.
