Popular ImageShack image hosting was hacked on Friday evening (10 July), the group calling itself Anti-Sec.

In Imageshack hack saw all the images located at the service was replaced by an image that more anti-SEC in the manifest. The group also distributed a copy of their manifesto to Imageshack users using the same e-mail facility is used to update Imageshack users from the site updates and news.

Anti-SEC encourages security industry to stop the practice of full disclosure, the practice of public dissemination and exploitation of vulnerabilities. The team believes that full disclosure is fraudulent, which helps companies sell security software such as firewalls and antivirus tools, as published exploit can use the script kiddies, that is, companies, especially the empowerment of people to do things the wrong way to create more fear and exploit as part of driving the business services that provide protection from these things.

There is no official word ImageShack yet on when service may return to normal life, although at the time of writing, part of the site, apparently, will work. Anti-SEC suggests in its manifesto that the image on ImageShack not been removed.
